The shark and "The physical impossibility of death in the mind of the living" with the shark is a great concept of art. The way of showing the viewers that death could come to us at any point but its also trying to show how we don't understand it when it comes to thinking it's going to happened to us. With the shark it triggers that fear of death and we start to think how death could happen to us mortals.
