Edward Horton & Heather hopper

These two paintings I picked to compare and contrast are from Edward hopper and Heather Horton they share many similarities and some differences. The two images are expressing some kind of loneliness and sadness. Both of the paintings show something went wrong that and the end result was the lady's in the painting feeling lonely. The one from Edward hoper looks like she was going to go in a date but maybe the guy did not show up. In the painting from Heather Horton the the lady looks like she was about to get married but something went wrong.
